I am Erica Cohan. I am a Licensed Professional Counselor in the state of Pennsylvania. My background is in family systems and attachment based family therapy. I invite you and your family to work with me on your relationships and life's challenges. I have worked in community based services, psychiatric day programs and crisis intervention. My Story
I graduated from McDaniel College in Westminster, Maryland with a Masters in Clinical Mental Health Counseling and I am Licensed Professional Counselor. I have worked in Family Based Mental Health Services providing in-home therapy services, residential treatment, and psychiatric day treatment programs. In these settings, I worked with children with serious mental health concerns. I completed training in ecosystemic family therapy and became a certified Family-Based therapist. I have been more recently been trained in Attachment-Based Family Therapy (Level 2 Certification). I am a mom/step mom to 3 wonderful children and a lover of anything coffee or hedgehog related. The beach is my happy place.
